Auction FAQs

The “Bid” is the largest amount a buyer is willing to pay upfront for a vehicle in the auction category.

To enter the auction, you will be asked to pay an advance deposit of 50,000 Yen. This will prevent fake or scam bidders and guarantee that there will be no last-minute cancellations.

Yes, your advance deposit for our auction services may be fully refunded or be used for your next bid. However, any bank charges will be covered by the bidder.

The deadline for placing a bid on a car will be clearly mentioned on our website on the product’s detail page.

A user can place bids on multiple vehicles. However, they will have to pay the deposit fee for all the vehicles they are bidding against, even if they want to buy one at the end.

After winning a bid, buyers must make the full payment in 48 hours; if they are not able to do so and do not inform us, the vehicle will automatically return to the auction system.

If a bidder cancels after winning an auction, they can still cancel, but their initial deposit made will not be refunded.

The auction cost will be a sum of your bidding price, SAT Japan’s auction fee, and the total transportation cost.

The auction service fee includes the cost of shipment from the auction house to the Japanese ports, customs clearance fees, documentation fees, and SAT Japan’s transportation and handling fee.

All available services through SAT Japan can be availed for Auction vehicles. Hence, you can get insurance services for your auction vehicle.

As convenient as that may sound, unfortunately, we do not send auto parts in transporting vehicles because of strict shipment standards. Transporting auto parts may cause damage to the inside of your vehicle.
